• Attention FBLA Members Competing at Districts – Please schedule a time with Mrs. Allen to test for your event. Deadline is Friday!
• Missouri Southern State University will be coming to the high school on Friday January 16th at 1:30 PM. Interested students should see Mrs. Skinner to sign up and get a pass.
• A Representative from Cass Career Center and Summit Technology Academy will be presenting information regarding their course offerings and requirements for sophomores and juniors interested in attending these off-campus opportunities for the 2015-2016 school year. Students will need to sign up in the either the north or south high school counseling office to receive a pass to attend. Cass Career Center will present on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 2pm. Summit Technology Academy will present on Thursday, January 22, 2016 at 2pm.
• Congratulations to the Special Olympics Basketball Teams for doing a great job at the tournament in Belton last weekend. The Team Skills group came home with bronze medals, one of the 3 on 3 teams also came home with bronze medals and the unified 3 on 3 team came home with the gold by defeating Liberty and Kearney.
• Ms. RP contestants will need to come to Ms. Schrader’s room 225 in the south building to pick up your baby pictures and posters. They will be thrown out Friday 23rd if not picked up.
• Student Senate is hosting a movie night from 7:30-11pm on Friday, January 23rd to raise money for the Polar Plunge. The cost is $3 per person and they will be showing Pitch Perfect, Wreck it Ralph, and The Avengers. Tickets will be sold during lunch in both buildings next week.
• Congrats to the panther wrestling team for beating LSW. The win improves the record to 4-1 and 1-0 in the conference.
• Donate money to polar plunge because if student council raises 7500 dollars then Mr. Moore, Mr. Williams, and Mr. O’Neal will wear a dress the Friday before polar plunge.
