Wrestling Senior Night 2019

January 31, 2019

Tuesday, January 29th Mod Pizza sponsored the school in a pizza gave away. 11 pizzas were given away during the dual against BSS Jaguars, 2 against the Oak Park Ladies, and 5 against Oak Park. On Wednesday, January 30th 4 pizzas were given away.

The seniors made displays of their wrestling career for a reception after the dual.

Attending MCC Business & Technology to become an industrial electrician.

Study Nursing at Northwest Missouri State University.

The best thing about wrestling manager is taking care of the team.

I would say thank you to my mom, for being a mother instead of just a friend. I’d say thanks for teaching me everything I’ll need to know for the future; except what to do without you.

What are your plans after graduation?

Studying psychology at Pitt State in order to become a psychiatrist for PTSD patients.

Overcoming the challenges that are easier than almost all like challenges, in the end it makes life a little easier.

I am a student athletic trainer-3 years, I’m in the IB program, Choir for 2 years, & SLT-2 years.

What are your plans after graduation?

Going to Mizzou for Clinical Laboratory Sciences.

What is the best thing about being a Wrestling Manager?

Watching as a team quickly becomes a family.

Coach Barbarick- he let me be a manager in the first place.

Who would you send a thank you note to and for what?

I would send a thank you note to my grandpa, for allowing me to help him with his own wrestling team and watching the practices. Thank you for teaching me how to take stats and for encouraging me to get involved in the first place.
