Forensics and Debate win Conference Tournament
The Ray-Pec Forensics and Debate Team won the Conference tournament this past weekend! Ray-Pec finished with 529 total sweeps points. Blue Springs South came in 2nd with 436. Individual results were as follows:
At the Forensics portion of the tournament results were as follows. In Dramatic Interpretation Alie Gillespie placed 1st and Stefania Smith placed 3rd. In Humorous Interpretation Cameron Perry placed 1st and Ryanne Linn placed 6th.
In Duo Interpretation Nick Schneider and Ian Fleming placed 1st and Jonah Desneux and Mattathias Davis placed 3rd. In United States Extemp Jeana Scott placed 1st. In Storytelling Stefania Smith placed 1st and Jesse Turos placed 3rd. In Prose Interpretation Alie Gillespie placed 2nd and Austin Moulder placed 4th. In Oratory Andrea Ambam placed 3rd and Audrey Warters placed 5th. In Poetry Interpretation Andrea Ambam placed 4th and Kristen Storms placed 6th.
At the Debate portion of the tournament, results were as follows: In Student Congress Caleb Daniels placed 3rd and Cara Sibert placed 7th. In Public Forum Debate Caleb Daniels and Noah Martin placed 1st and Daily Bennett and Audrey Warters placed 6th. In Lincoln-Douglas Debate Dalton Russell placed 3rd and Brooke Kelly placed 4th. In Policy Debate Cameron Leonard and Nick Lanza placed 6th.
