Werk. Leaping sophomore Lauren Johnson prepares for the competition this Saturday. Johnson has been dancing since she was 3 years old.

The Prowlers dance team, both JV and Varsity, will be competing this Saturday, December 13th, at the regional Kansas City Classic dance competition. The girls will be competing all day, starting with Emily Harris’ solo at 7:46 am. Awards start at 5:00 pm. 23 dances, including solos and group routines will be performed. The girls have been working since October on these routines. The KC Classic is a competition they attend every year.

“I think we’re going to do very well, we have been working very hard on each dance for two to three months now and everyone has put in lots of hard work and hopefully it will pay off,” said, Sophomore Lauren Johnson.
