The Girl’s Basketball team is getting ready for an exciting season, to help build on their strengths and improve their performance on the court. So far with a challenging but positive season, the team is focused on continuing to improve their skills, teamwork, and strategies. With helpful coaches, many practices, and teamwork, the players are committed to pushing themselves harder each game. Their goal is to grow as athletes, a team, and strive for the success that they are going towards that’ll help them end with a successful season.
The team has a few goals this season to help improve their teamwork and communication on the court. Junior Jordyn Pierce is a third-year member on the team and now touches on their improvement this season.
“This season we are practicing to stay and sync during tough games. We’re trying to learn how to pass more and communicate more,” said Pierce
The extra practices and communication, the girls are determined to strengthen their skills so they can have a winning mindset. Pierce also speaks on the practices.
“I enjoy practicing how to pass and shoot so that me and my teammates have good communication,” Pierce mentioned.
They also want to improve their passing and shooting. Senior Sarai Clark is on the varsity team and also speaks on the practices.
“We are practicing on our shooting form in order to get extra practice with it,” said Clark.
To improve their scoring, the girls have been going over past games to help improve their scoring. The girls are more confident in their ability to shoot the basketball. with them learning the practice they need it’ll help improve them better for the rest of the season.
As the Girl’s Basketball team prepares to finish off the season, they focus on improving their skills, strategies, and teamwork, with them building their teamwork, communication, and stronger strategies, it helps them overcome challenges and grow as a team. With more effort and practice and pushing to their limits, the girls are ready to compete at a higher level. As the season continues, the team is ready to give it their all.
