For the past three years, the life skills class has adopted a family in need near the holidays. This is an opportunity to teach the students the many ways to give back to their community and help someone in need. Taking the money they have earned from Chewy’s Store, they take a trip to Walmart to purchase the gifts. This year they were able to buy 3 outfits, new pajamas, hats/gloves, shoes, socks, and toys for each child from their family. The students wrapped all of the presents and delivered them to Peculiar Elementary.
