Did you know that only 40% of kids are fit, and only 26% actually exercise? That’s a 34 percent decrease!
Many kids worldwide today tend to spend time only playing video games, and watching brain rot, mostly things involving their phone. The problem? This is NOT healthy! And how do you think you could fix this? By exercising!
While running and weightlifting are effective ways to exercise, bike riding is also a great way to get some exercise in.
Interviewing a young bike rider, Maxwell Prewitt, Maxwell stated that bike riding is a great form of exercise, especially if you plan on doing intense activities such as boxing, for example.
“Riding your bike uphills is like doing a combination of squats and lunges,” Prewitt inquired.
Studies have shown, that bike riding helps with cardiovascular health, muscle strength, and improved posture.
“My parents taught me how to ride my bike,” said Maxwell.
About 49% of kids worldwide know how to ride their bike, yet just don’t ride their bike at all.
Many readers may wonder when the best time to bike ride would be, but research shows that people who ride bikes commonly bike ride during the fall. “I bike ride around my neighborhood during the fall season because you don’t have to worry about it being too hot or too cold,” Prewitt remarked boldly.
Bike riding is also ridden during the summertime by most individuals.
Bike riding is a great form of exercise, but it s also a great way to enjoy nature as well! When Maxwell was asked why he enjoys bike riding every day,
Prewitt thought for a moment before confidently remarking, “I enjoy bike riding because it lets me get out to nature and explore the world.”
Overall, bike riding is a very underrated form of exercise, and it’s a great way for kids to explore nature. So do your body a favor and get on that bike!
