Spanish Club

As clubs are starting to kick off, Spanish Club is not left behind. Their first meeting, led by club organizer Heidi Lanksbury, was on Tuesday, September 7. Meetings are held after school every other Tuesday in room 606 because of the absence of Panther Time.

Anyone can participate; students do not need to be in a Spanish class to join. Spanish Club focuses on learning, accepting, and appreciating Spanish-speaking cultures.

“It is pretty laid back. We mostly watch movies, talk, eat, maybe learn some dances,” said Lanksbury.

Some events that the club is hoping to participate in are Trunk-or-Treat and selling Pulsera bracelets. However, due to the uncertainty of the Covid-19 restrictions, no event has been finalized. The next meeting, on September 21, will be for officer elections and event planning.
