Ray-Pec Speech and Debate students won second place in the overall sweepstakes from among 44 schools at the Neosho Varsity Tournament Feb. 22 and 23. This was Ray-Pec’s final invitational tournament of the year.

Individual results:
• Tevin Chavez and Alec Heriford, 1st Place in Duo Interpretation
• Ella Schnake, 1st Place in Program Oral Interpretation
• Ian Van Horn, 2nd in Humorous Interpretation
• Tevin Chavez, 4th Place in Dramatic Interpretation
• Katie Clewell, 4th Place in Informative Speaking
• Brenden Lucas, 4th Place in International Extemp
• Ashley Sclesky, 4th Place in Humorous Interpretation
• Jacob Scott and Trevor Turner, 5th Place in Policy Debate
• Spencer Barr and Denton Meehan, 6th Place in Duo Interpretation
