The Drama Club is one Big Family

Late nights being involved with the creative process of rehearsing lines, preparing for a show, or just making memories are only a few of the activities that the Drama Club takes part in during the year. The theatre department is consistently recognized for their talents.

The Drama Club brings talents and successes together to create a family-like bond. Members of the club see first-hand how the club’s relationships within it affects the overall environment.

Senior Allie Gillespie sees the friendships that members make and notices that each one is different than the last.

“Everyone has something to contribute and everybody brings something new and exciting to the table,” said Gillespie.

Having a connection helps better the overall performance and atmosphere. There are many talented individuals, but they’re at their strongest when they are working together. The cast and crew all work together to achieve the same goal; to put on a great show.

If we see something that we want, no matter what, we will try our hardest that we possibly can to get it,¨ said Junior Cameron Perry.

Though the club does devote a lot of time and effort to do their best, they still manage to have fun and enjoy their bond while doing so.

“Drama club is just a great group of people, we have a lot of fun and it’s really a great experience to do theatre and plays. It’s just great,” Sophomore Trevor Diepenbrock said.

Many of the fun times would not be possible without the connections and relationships this club has formed.

“It’s just so fun to do a show and get so connected with the cast, because you really become like one big family,” Perry said.
The Drama Club truly is one big family.
