Ray-Pec DECA members demonstrated exceptional skills and knowledge at the recent DECA District 3 Career Development Conference bringing home multiple awards. The event, held on February 11, 2025 at UMKC, featured competitors from schools across the KC Metro, all striving for excellence in business, marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship.
Ray-Pec DECA had an outstanding performance, with 29 students earning top placements in various competitive events.
Julian Pena Giron– 10th Place in Sports and Entertainment Marketing
Jack Bench –7th Place in Food Marketing
Will Carver– 7th Place in Business Finance
Tyson Chesnut– 7th Place in Sports and Entertainment Marketing
Jaxson Kalinka– 7th Place in Financial Consulting
Andrew Carter and Chaz Eagan– 6th Place in Business Law and Ethics Team Decision Making
Cora Griffith and Claire Humke– 6th Place in Buying and Merchandising Team Decision Making

DECA is an international organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. Ray-Pec DECA continues to foster student growth by providing hands-on experiences that develop their business knowledge and leadership abilities.
